One half cup, then fill with water to the maximum mark. Boil, either outside or with the window open (not toxic, but not pleasant). You can pour the resulting liquid over weeds sprouting between terrace tiles, into a tub and use it to clean that, save and cool and clean windows or mirrors or glassware with, etc.
Boil with water one more time, using this rinse with the vinegar solution for solving other problems.
